Great price and very easy to mount. I liked the fact that it simply had two metal cups that you had to place on your door to put the bar into. Rather than bore you all with too much detail I suggest reading the other reviews. Follow the directions and you will have no problems. This is a good chin up bar for the money.
Works great for pull ups and chin ups. Minus: Although I haven't tried it I think there may be some problems if you used this for push-ups. It doesn't seem designed for it. The build quality is high, and it does everything as promised. It is out of the way but conveniently close. It was a good buy.
Great, Simple Bar
Best Doorway Chin Up Bar Review

I have had my chin up bar for over a year now, I initially bought it to encourage my "couch potato" kids to challenge themselves or each other! Well it has accomplished that and more! My boys now are a lot leaner and toned, this was an easy "fun" way to get into becoming physically fit! When you see it everyday it is an easy "prompting" to see how many you can now do! We started with some of the kids only being able to hang on it, after reaching it standing on a stool! The youngest kids did not want to be left out of the fun! They even got me, old mom to try my muscles out with it! I am considering buying more for each kids bedroom door, as whenever they see someone doing it, they all have to wait for turns to see if they can out do the other kids (this takes some time as I have many children!) seven ad five are boys!
It is a small enough price to pay for my boys "new found" muscles and has spurred them onto all types of other physical conditioning competing. The latest is seeing who can do a "plank" the longest! Mom is holding the lead thus far at a consistent 7 minutes with an occasional 8! But only on an empty stomach first thing in the A.M.! I highly recommend this inexpensive bar for yourself or a friend, it makes a great gift!

The reviews here are correct-- this is a STURDY bar. Shockingly so. It's also SIMPLE to mount. And yes, the obvious, it's INEXPENSIVE. But that's not what I find especially INTERESTING about this bar. Here is: because of an inherent characteristic of this simple design, you receive a greatly increased forearm workout while doing pull-ups. This bar, in order to fit in varying door frame sizes, is designed to extend when twisted in one direction and to shorten when twisted the other direction.
However, when you're doing a pull-up, you don't want the bar to roll (or twist) or your fingers will roll off. To prevent the rolling of the bar, your forearm muscles need to work extra hard to maintain the proper wrist stance. At first I found this annoying. It made the pull-ups significantly more difficult, and I wanted to work my back and biceps, not my forearms. But with a little patience and fortitude, this bar proved to increase my pull-up strength in ways I could've never planned. I strongly recommend this bar... especially to climbers.
